I am facing QuickBooks Error 6175 When Turning on Multi-User Mode in myQB application. How can I fix it?
Sometimes, when some of the important QB services like QBDataServiceUser do not have admin rights, you may face issues while accessing the QB company file. So, to resolve the QuickBooks Company File Error 6175 you need to assign the admin rights to the QBDataServiceUser. The steps are as follows: a) Exit the QuickBooks Desktop application on your system and press the Windows + R keys. b) Now, when the Control Panel appears, hit Enter and select User Accounts. c) Then, click on the Manage another account option. d) And click twice on QBDataServiceUser (QuickBooks Version). e) After that, click Change Account Type and then select Administrator. f) Check for the error message 6175 while accessing the company file.
